I have a special affinity for Singapore as I was born and lived the first 3 years of my life there. I returned here in the early 80's to discover that much of the architecture and character was being replaced with a sterile modern look. Fortunately someone with some foresight realised that what was being lost didn't make Singapore, Singapore anymore!
Here are some images of my visit in 2014 and again in 2015 when Singapore was celebrating its 50th year of nationhood. A very clean and safe place to visit with some truly beautiful locations blending both old and new.
